Fighting back reduces the duration of the Struggle, and is modified by weapon and experience mode. Wolf Struggle now inflicts damage events over time. In Stalker, the fire temperature needs to exceed the outdoor temperature before you begin to warm up. In Pilgrim and Voyageur experience modes, any fire will immediately halt all Condition loss due to Freezing (note that you won’t warm up unless the fire temperature exceeds the outside temperature). You now need to add fuel to increase the burn time and heat output of a fire. This is a new system that will likely require ongoing tuning into the future, so we appreciate all your feedback and patience! You can now harvest fuel and cloth directly from objects in the world.

If so, how striking will the graphical and gameplay differences be? And will it alleviate the save data dilemma? If that weren’t enough, there’s actually an additional snag, because the PS5 will be backwards compatible with most PS4 games.
If they can’t bring their save files to a new console, their free PS5 version upgrades come with an unfortunate caveat: having to restart the game.
